The former secretary-treasurer for the Coquitlam school district received $148,495 in severance after he tendered his resignation in December, the Tri-City News reports.
Rick Humphreys was entitled to 14 months severance for 41 months of service, the newspaper reports. He resigned for health reasons shortly before the district announced in January that it had a multi-million deficit and had to make deep spending cuts.
