Vancouver police are searching for a van involved in a hit-and-run accident on July 24 that left a pedestrian with significant, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
Police said Tuesday that around 4 a.m., a 27-year-old woman was on Main Street near East 8th Avenue when she was hit by a van that was travelling north on Main Street. The driver of the van kept going even after the incident.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment, and has since been released.
The van was described as a light blue, early 1990s to mid-2000s Volkswagen Eurovan. Police believe the van has fresh damage to the front end, including the driver’s side headlight and bumper.
The vehicle was driven by a man described as white. A woman was also seen in the front passenger seat.
