Police in Abbotsford are investigating a shooting that put one man in hospital early Saturday.
Around 2 a.m., several people called 911 calls reporting gunshots and a car accident near Blue Jay Street and Cardinal Avenue.
Officers found a 23-year-old man inside a Cadillac Escalade with gunshot wounds. The man was taken to hospital and is being treated for serious injuries. The Escalade had been driven off the road and hit a power pole.
Major crime detectives, forensic evidence investigators, and collision analysts continued to look into the crash and shooting on Saturday morning.
Commuters are asked to avoid the area, and take alternate routes.
