Do you dread Valentine’s Day? Do you find the whole Hallmark holiday to be just a forced and awkward affair?
Café Medina feels ya.
The popular downtown brunch restaurant is hosting an Anti-Valentine’s Day service on Feb. 14 that owner Robbie Kane says will be an inclusive, communal service for singles, couples, friends, family and groups alike. There will be no tables for two.
“We totally encourage love, for sure, but I think this is a better opportunity to spread love rather than limit it,” Kane said. “Let’s open it up to everybody … and have some fun.”
Café Medina’s Anti-Valentine’s Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. The five-course service costs $69 per person.
