The Vancouver Aquatic Centre on Beach Avenue is closed today due to flooding and resulting electrical issues.
The VAC’s sump-pump failed during the heavy rains and water flooded the facility’s offices and electrical room.
Vancouver Park Board crews are busy pumping the water out of the building.
