The Pride Education Network is urging B.C. political parties to address the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) students as they prepare for the May election.
The group wants the parties to include in their election platforms a promise that anti-homophobia policies and action plans will be required in all B.C. school districts, similar to those that now exist in 20 of the 60 districts.
