A 6.8 magnitude Earthquake off the east coast of Honshu, Japan has triggered a tsunami advisory for Japan but not for coastal British Columbia.
The quake wa recorded at 12:22 p.m. PT, about 130 kilometres off Japan’s northern coast near the Fukushima nuclear power plant crippled in the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
Japan’s Meteorological Agency says the quake struck early Saturday 10 kilometres below the sea surface off the coast of Fukushima, northeast of Tokyo. ...
