Los Angeles assistant coach John Stevens, who was thought to be a potential candidate for the vacant Vancouver Canucks’ head coaching job, will be staying in Hollywood.
The L.A. Times is reporting the Stanley Cup champion Kings have promoted the 48-year-old Stevens to associate head coach. The new title likely comes with a significant pay raise.
