A man was shot in the 11200 block of Bridgeport Road in Richmond about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
People in the commercial area helped the wounded man and called 911. He was rushed to hospital, but his condition is unknown.
Richmond RCMP serious crime is investigating the case and looking for witnesses. They have not released information on whether the shooting was targeted or gang related.
