New rules for B.C. offshore schools after allegations of grade inflation

The Education Ministry has created new rules for B.C.-certified schools overseas after complaints from teachers about grade inflation, contract violations and superficial inspections.

Education Minister Don McRae said sweeping changes were needed to protect B.C.’s reputation for quality education and the reputation of the Dogwood diploma.
