Tuition fees for post-secondary education in B.C. have risen from $2,770 in 1990 to $5,506 in 2012-13, a new report from the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives found.
Those amounts are adjusted for inflation to 2011 dollars, according to the report, called Degrees of Uncertainty. The actual amount paid in 1990 was $1,808 and today is $5,719.
