The B.C. Court of Appeal has added two years to the cocaine conspiracy sentence of notorious gangster Jarrod Bacon.
Justice Edward Chiasson said Bacon, who agreed to buy 100 kilos of cocaine from an undercover agent in 2009, deserved a 14-year term, instead of the 12 years he was handed last year.
Chiasson said that Bacon, now 30, was a career criminal and that “the sentence of 12 years was not fit.
