A Hells Angels associate charged in a massive cocaine smuggling case has been denied bail in B.C. Supreme Court.
Justice Gregory Bowden read his decision Monday morning, denying Kevin Van Kalkeren his release pending a trial scheduled to begin in September 2014.
Bowden’s reasons, as well as submissions at the two-day bail hearing, are covered by a publication ban.
