The B.C. Ministry of Education has chosen the Aspen student information system as the new software for B.C. schools, but the Vancouver School Board chair is concerned the government might not pay for expenses related to the switchover.
Schools now use the British Columbia enterprise Student Information System (BCeSIS), but the transition to the new software is expected in 2014, with implementation in 2015.
