Since May 2012, the Sunlight Foundation — a U.S. group that advocates for government transparency — has been running a site that archives all tweets deleted by U.S. politicians. The project has so far caught a Republican congressman questioning President Barack Obama’s citizenship and a number of U.S. congressmen responding to the (incorrect) news that the Supreme Court had struck down Obamacare.
