Vancouver’s money-losing continuing education program will not be cut after all.
That was one of the decisions by the Vancouver board of education Monday night as it approved a balanced budget for 2013-14.
The program offers courses - ranging from jewellery design and culinary arts to general business and house construction - to fee-paying adults after school hours. But it’s lost more than $1 million over the past five years.
