Mounties in Surrey are investigating a shooting that sent two people to hospital early Thursday morning.
Shortly after 3 a.m. RCMP were called out to the area of 135A Street and 108th Avenue for a report of shots fired.
Police say that when officers arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. They then located a second victim nearby. The initial investigation located a firearm nearby. Police say both victims have been transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers are canvassing the neighbourhood and speaking with witnesses. The investigation is still in its early stages, but police believe this is an isolated incident.
