Women have outnumbered men in the teaching profession for a long time, but now they’re claiming dominance in school administration too.
For the second year in a row, B.C. public schools are employing more women than men as principals, vice-principals and directors of instruction. An Education Ministry report says there are 1,318 women working full-time in those jobs this year compared to 1,257 men. Five years ago, the count was 1,284 women and 1,412 men....
