One man has been taken to hospital after a shooting Thursday morning in New Westminster.
New Westminster police say shortly before 7 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 300-block of Carnarvon Street.
When they arrived, officers found an injured man. He was transported to hospital, but his condition is unknown at this time.
Acting Sgt. Jeff Scott says the investigation is in its early stages, and they are asking for witnesses to call police.
