With an election just weeks away, the Liberal government has been busy announcing new initiatives.
The latest is a review of the K-12 student assessment program, including Grade 10-12 provincial exams and the controversial Foundation Skills Assessment (FSA) in Grades 4 and 7. The NDP has promised a similar review but might not quibble with the Liberal plan, given the credentials of the two men who are leading it.
