A realtor was sexually assaulted inside a Surrey home while she was holding an open house on Saturday, and Mounties are asking for help identifying her attacker.
The woman was working in north Surrey when she was attacked by a stranger at about 4:10 p.m., according to an RCMP press release. She was able to fight him off, and he fled. Police searched the area but were unable to find him.
The victim was not physically injured in the assault.
Investigators are searching for a man who is described as a South Asian man with an accent in his late 20s to mid 40s. He’s said to be between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8, with brown eyes and a dark brown, well-groomed beard, and he was wearing a white turban, dark pants and a light shirt at the time of the attack.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
