Col. Tim Kopra, currently serving his second tour of duty on the International Space Station, Tweeted out a gift to Vancouverites on Monday, a photo of our fair city snapped from outer space.

Even from 400 kilometres away, Vancouver still looks good.
Kopra is commander of the ISS as part of Expedition 46 and Expedition 47. His time in space will conclude in June with the departure of the Soyuz TMA-19M.

Tim Kopra is a Colonel in the U.S. Army and a NASA Astronaut with one prior space flight, serving as Flight Engineer aboard the International Space Station in 2009.
When he isn’t Tweeting out pics of cities (and he does that a lot), Kopra takes photos of his food. He’s just like us!
