Surrey RCMP are searching for two suspects after a man was stabbed early Wednesday morning in his Surrey home during a break and enter.
At about 4:30 a.m., Mounties responded to a break and enter in the 19100-block of 62A Avenue where a man confronted the suspects inside his home. A fight broke out and the homeowner was stabbed.
According to RCMP, the two Caucasian male suspects fled the home taking the man’s 2005 white Mini Cooper with a black top and a B..C licence plate number BT6 75H.
The victim was taken to a local area hospital to be treated for his non-life threatening injury.
