Said The Whale, one of Vancouver’s favourite homegrown rock bands, were the victims of crime last night downtown.
The band is asking fans to keep an eye out for a backpack containing a MacBook Pro that was stolen from a car parked at Cordova and Carrall in the DTES.
On Said The Whale’s Instagram, an unnamed band member posted that the computer contain “every song I’ve written in the past three years.”

The band has reported the theft to the VPD and getting some personal service from Supt. Michelle Davey.
