While Canadian pop star Justin Bieber thrilled his legions of fans with a soulful show at Rogers Arena Friday, at least one lucky Belieber was treated to a private performance from his Royal Biebs in Vancouver.
Vancouver Canucks forward Jake Virtanen, who at 19 years old probably grew up in Abbotsford listening to Bieber music, palled around with the singer during his visit.
Virtanen posted photos of their bro-tastic time together on his Instagram account.
A video titled “Jamming for my boy Jake Virtanen – in Vancouver, Canada” with Bieber playing and singing Jerry Lee Lewis’s Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On is also circulating on social media.
This is Virtanen’s second brush with celebrity this season.
During January’s all-star break, the Canuck rookie took actress Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick Ass) to Disneyland and posted a (now-deleted) Instagram photo of the two of them in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
