Surrey RCMP Cpl. Scotty Schumann says a man wanted in connection with a violent incident Dec. 5 has now been arrested.
Karanjit Randhawa, 27, who is facing a series of charges with several other men, turned himself in to authorities Friday and has been remanded in custody.
Schumann said Wednesday that Randhawa had been charged with forcible confinement, robbery, assault with a weapon, and assault causing bodily harm.
The Mounties received a report Dec. 5 that a man was being assaulted, threatened, and held against his will in the area of 86th Avenue and 130th Street.
Arrested earlier were Davjit Randhawa, 31, Sukhdeep Dhaliwal, 19, Chaten Dhindsa, 20, Gurpreet Dhudwal, 18, and Ravinder Samra, 28. All have been released on bail conditions.
Police say the suspects have been part of the violent gang conflict in Surrey.
