Two people standing in a garage of a Surrey house were target in a shooting about 11 p.m. Monday.
Neither intended victims is cooperating with the investigation, Surrey RCMP Sgt. Paul Hayes said in a news release.
People inside the house in the 14200-block of 62A Avenue called police to report the shooting. No one was injured.
Hayes said witnessed reported seeing a suspect running from scene wearing a mask.
“The two intended victims are known to police and it is believed that this was a targeted attack,” Hayes said.
The Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Unit has taken conduct of the investigation and is continuing to collect evidence and speak to anyone in the area that may have witnessed what had occurred.

Meanwhile, B.C. Justice Minister Susanne Anton will be in Surrey Wednesday at the office of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, where she’ll take questions from the media on the region’s gang problem.
