Meant to post this a few days ago but got busy with a few other things. I had a little story on Monday on where in B.C. power outages are most common. Here’s the map and chart (mobile versions here and here):
I’ve been hard on BC Hydro in the past but, to its credit, it provided the outage data I used for this story voluntarily without forcing me to go through the hoops of a Freedom of Information request. And Hydro’s staff were very helpful in answering all my follow-up questions about the data.
