Langara Journalism department turns 50

Langara’s Journalism department is turning 50 this year.
It’s celebrating by hosting a reunion party on Friday night and a presentation by Toronto Star investigative reporter Kevin Donovan  Thursday night.
The school is the oldest journalism program in Western Canada, beginning in 1965 at Vancouver City College. Early on, it moved to Langara College, where it still resides today.
