By the numbers: B.C.’s minimum wage hike translates to an extra $416 per year

B.C. minimum wage will be bumped up by 20 cents to $10.45 per hour in September.

Any further increases will be tied to the Consumer Price Index, according to B.C. Jobs Minister Shirley Bond.

Liquor servers will also see a 20 cent jump — from $9 per hour to $9.20.
