Just two days after The Vancouver Sun finished a two-part series on Mexican cartels setting up shop in Vancouver and other parts of Canada, police in Alberta have announced the arrest of members of La Familia gang members in Edmonton.
The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) said four gang members, including the president of La Familia in Alberta, are facing a total of 40 drug trafficking and gun charges.
