Rare murder charge laid against officer after ERT shooting

For the first time in decades, a B.C. police officer has been charged with murder for his role in a fatal shooting while on duty.
Delta Police Const. Jordan MacWilliams, a former member of the Municipal Integrated Emergency Response Team, is facing one count of second-degree murder for the fatal 2012 shooting of a man during an armed standoff.
